Some Dude

Some Dude is none other than Houston Astro Luke Scott. Perhaps the player with the most plain name in all of baseball, Luke Scott does not leave much of an impression on the casual fan. Luke Scott was first referred to as Some Dude by Chandrathan on Wednesday April 18th. Ken Griffey Jr. had made a great defensive play to rob him of a home run earlier in the game, but unfortunately a fellow Red Reporter missed the play. When the question was raised as to what had happened, Chandrathan responded, "Griffey stole a home run from some dude"

Instantly, Luke Scott had a reason to be remembered. He will always be known as Some Dude because as a player and a name he is unspectacular.
