Contract notes:

• Arroyo's 2011 option has a $2 million buyout. It can also escalate to $13 million based on innings pitched in 2010.
• Coffey can earn $600k in performance bonuses in 2008.
• Harang's 2011 option has a $2 million buyout. It can also escalate to $13 million based on innings pitched in 2010. If he's traded, the option becomes a mutual option and escalates to $14 million with a $2.5 million buyout.
• Stanton's 2009 option has a $500k buyout. The option becomes guaranteed at $2.75 million if he pitches in 71 games in 2008.
• Weathers will earn as much as $800k more than listed in 2008 based on bonuses received for finishing 60 games in 2007. He could receive even more bonuses for finishing at least 35 games in 2008.
• Ross's 2009 option has a $375k buyout.
• Castro's 2009 option has a $100k buyout
• Gonzalez's 2010 option has a $500k buyout. If he wins a gold glove in 2008, his 2009 salaray increases to $5.5 million.
• Dunn has a full no trade clause thru 6/15/2008 after which he must select at least 10 teams to whom he would accept a trade.
• Griffey's 2009 option has a $4 million buyout.
• Cordero's contract has a $500k signing bonus which has been applied to the 2008 payroll, though this may not be how the Reds account for it. He has a $12 million option for 2012 with a $1 million buyout. He has a complete no trade clause for 2008 and 2009 with a limited no trade clause for the remainder of the contract beyond that.
• Affeldt can earn $1 million in performance bonuses based on starts and innings pitched
• Phillips has a team option worth $12 million for 2012 with a $1 million buyout. If he's traded, the option becomes mutual. Each year of his contract has escalators, which can be found here.
