Game Threads are created for every game and provide a place for Red Reporters to chat about anything from the beers they drink to why they hate Mc-blank.
All RR readers are encouraged to join in on the game threads whenever they have the opportunity.
The all-time Game Thread Record
On August 29, 2006, a perfect storm of a baseball game provided the faithful Red Reporters with a chance to make history. The final tally on the night was 1395 comments that required 5 threads on Red Reporter and even saw some of the crew venture over to the SB Nation Dodgers' site. The game finally ended after 16 innings at 3am ET with Ryan Franklin ruining the party by throwing the ball right down the middle. Blech.

According to RR Historian Red Menace, the previous record was "on May 15, 1956. In the end of a 14 inning Reds win over the Cubs, GusBellsTaint made the 812th post."

The Anaconda was most-known for drunken hook-ups on "the couch," Daedalus passing out in the third thread (lightweight), the reappearance of "GusBellsTaint," several other appearances by Nick Lachey and Farney, the introduction of HooHas, abdicating Andrew from the TrueBlue thrown, Ryan Franklin inexplicably claiming he would throw the same pitch if he had anohter chance (right "down the middle," as alluded to earlier), much liquid cheer, the realization that the Reds had pitched a 16-inning no-hitter and still lost, and many other things.
Red Reporter can do it all night long!
