Below is the estimated salaries for the 2007 Reds roster based on their amount of time on the Major League roster. Salaries are taken from Baseball Reference and days on roster is calculated from transaction information on MLB.com. The assumptions made are that any player on the MLB DL is included on the MLB roster and therefore receives an MLB salary. These numbers may not be precise as some players salaries are not available. For those players, it was assumed that they made around the league minimum with first year players assigned $380k and those with more experience varying from $390k to $400k. It shouldn't change the total number too much as most of those players had limited playing time.
Clarification may be needed on the Chad Moeller and Kirk Saarloos salaries as both players had MLB contracts but were put through waivers and outrighted to Louisville. It is unclear as to what salary they would be paid when they were brought back up to the MLB roster. Moeller's numbers have not been included in the total as he was traded to the Dodgers for cash considerations, which are assumed to cover his salary for the year.

NOTE: MLB released the Reds official 2007 payroll as $73.1 million. The difference is likely do to accounting tricks and mistakes made on my part. This table is a pretty good estimate though.
*Additional monies include money that the Reds were paying to Jason Larue that were included in his deal to the Royals as well as money used to buyout the option on Paul Wilson's contract.
